We had an absolute blast celebrating Avril and John’s wedding at the iconic Las Cicadas villa in Ibiza in late October 2024.

Living in Australia but originally from Ireland, the couple chose Ibiza as the perfect meeting point — a place that combined their love of the island with their lively, party-loving spirit.

From the very start, they wanted the day to feel vibrant, energetic, and authentically Ibiza. We brought in live music for the ceremony, set the rhythm during the aperitif, and kept it flowing through dinner and into the night. With 130 guests, the atmosphere was electric, and the fantastic Ibiza wedding band made sure the party never stopped.

A Stylish Celebration Under the Stars

Since October weather in Ibiza can be unpredictable, we styled the celebration beneath a beautiful Bedouin-style tent, creating a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with festoon lights twinkling overhead.

The couple’s grand entrance with golden cold sparkles perfectly reflected their radiant energy. Dinner was a relaxed sharing-style menu, with tables dressed in white flowers, candles, and song titles from their favorite playlist — a personal nod to their love of music.

The highlight came after dinner, when Avril and John smashed a pavlova cake in tribute to their Australian roots before hitting the dance floor. The bride even joined the band for a few songs, adding to the unforgettable energy of the night. The celebration continued the next morning with a laid-back hangover breakfast complete with more live music, giving guests the perfect send-off in true Ibiza style.
