For the wedding day, Gauri and Veral chose the stunning Can Domingo wedding venue in Ibiza—a rustic inland gem tucked away among lush gardens, ancient olive trees, and rich Ibizan greenery.
It was the perfect backdrop for their relaxed, heartfelt inland wedding in Ibiza. But as the island likes to keep us on our toes, a storm rolled in just before the ceremony. As they say in Spain, "Novia mojada, novia afortunada"—a wet bride is a lucky bride! We embraced the moment. Our team quickly set up a beautiful Bedouin tent decorated with warm festoon lighting, bringing both shelter and atmosphere to the garden.
Then, right on cue, the clouds parted. The sun broke through—just in time. In a matter of minutes, we moved the entire setup back outdoors so Gauri and Veral could say “I do” under the open sky with views over the trees and the distant sea. We styled the garden with rich red flowers that contrasted beautifully with the venue’s greenery and rustic walls, giving the whole setting a bold, romantic energy.
The reception followed with a long-table dinner for 100 guests, designed with a clean but colorful aesthetic—green foliage runners, warm lighting, hand-dyed textiles, and touches of gold and terracotta. The vibe was elegant yet easy. Guests enjoyed a fresh, Mediterranean-inspired menu and heartfelt toasts as the sun dipped below the hills. A surprise performance and a soft jazz set set the tone before a cozy dance session under the canopy of trees.
Just before midnight, the rain returned—but the party didn’t stop. We moved indoors, lit the candles, and transformed the villa into an intimate, candle-lit dance floor where the celebrations continued late into the night.
